The Women’s Nike Dunk High Up “Michigan” is a women’s-exclusive version of the popular lifestyle shoe in a colorway inspired by a look from 1985’s “Be True to Your School” collection of college basketball-inspired Dunks. The Dunk High Up was introduced in 2018 in Nike’s “The 1 Reimagined” campaign, and returned in October 2021 with this “Michigan” style that mimics the look of the original “Michigan” Dunk, albeit with some modifications. Like the classic “Michigan” colorway that salutes the Michigan Wolverines college basketball team, the Dunk High Up version has a Varsity Maize leather base with Midnight Navy leather overlays. New additions to the look are accented in red and include an embroidered mini Swoosh stitched on a navy leather Swoosh on the sides and layered panels. A navy “Nike” logo is paired with a navy Swoosh on the white tongue tag on the white padded tongue. Underfoot, a stacked midsole adds extra height to the shoe. Release date: October 27, 2021
