Harris® Stay-Silv® 6 phos-copper brazing alloy filler metal 1/8" round x 36" long rod packed in a 25 lb. box is designed for copper-to-copper applications. It is somewhat more ductile than Harris® 0. Stay-Silv® 6 can be used on copper-to-brass connections with an appropriate brazing flux. Stay-Silv® 6 has a lower phosphorus content than the AWS BCuP- 4 classification thus creating an alloy that is well suited for many brazing applications. The melting range makes it useful for assemblies with wider clearance. Conforms to the EU Reach and RoHS directive.

- Medium-range silver brazing alloy for copper-to-copper applications
- Lower phosphorus content than Stay-Silv®6HP (or other AWS BCuP-4 classification alloys)
- More ductile than Harris® 0 or Stay-Silv® 2
- Well suited for assemblies with wider clearances
- Used in rod form for manual braze applications, but can be formed as brazing rings or on spools for semi-automated applications
- Recommended joint clearance of 0.002"-0.005" (0.05 mm-0.13 mm)
- Fluidity rating 5
- Use Stay-Silv® white flux to braze brass or copper-to-brass
- Not recommended for brazing steel or other ferrous base metals
- Conforms to the EU Reach and RoHS directive
